Favorite SCOTUS case

MY favorite SCOTUS case is Kent V. United states. This case is probably the most important because talked about how this 16 year old commited rape and house break and the court wanted to try them as an adult. This case was very important to America because without this case you wouldnt be able to be tried as an adult. the ruling of this case was that the court found him guilty and they did not!! Charge as an adult. This case took place in 1966. this case is important to me because i believe it has solved a great problem in the justice system that kids could not be tried as an adult.

being truly gifted

The downs of being gifted are that  being gifted means that you get extra expactations and that as soon as you reach that you have to get even  better and people are always expecting you to be the best when in truth sometimes you are not the best. The ups of being gifted are that you get extra chances to improve your itelligance that others dont normally have and also you get people to look up to you and that you have the opportunity to help others and you dont really have to worry about getting bad grades.

My name is Michael Cottrell and I am in 8th grade. My favorite school classes are rogate and algebra. My favorite activites to learn about are skateboarding because the more i learn about it the better i will get at it.I also like to learn about nature because it is very interesting and it increases my knowledge in many other subjects. I also like to learn about nature because my family is a farming family and it helps me learn about what my grandparents do. In my free time i like to play baseball and sskateboard beacuse they are both very fun and i always can get better in them. wheni get older  am going to go to college and get a good degrre and eventually im going to try to become a good lawyer and make a lot of money. My friends make me happy and just relaxing and getting good grades.
